Siemens Demonstration A Huge Success
Our Siemens demonstration day on Saturday 13 November was a huge success. Our home economist Karen Walker presented an amazing array of dishes, which demonstrated the outstanding capabilities of the Siemens appliances.
There was a Christmas theme with a turkey crown, roast potatoes and a Christmas cake. The Christmas cake was cooked in a fraction of time it would have taken in a conventional over, using the combination microwave.
The combination microwave was also used for a ginger and marmalade sponge, which took just 18 minutes to cook using the microwave, oven and steam functions, to create a delicious sponge.
The meat probe was used to set a core temperature for the Turkey Crown, which switches the oven off when the temperature is reached, ensuring perfect cooking and no wasted energy.
Spiced cookies, beetroot bruschetta and salmon tartlets were all cooked in the same oven, using 4D hot air technology, which allows different dishes to be cooked at the same time with no mingling of tastes or smells. A delicious smoked salmon was cooked in the steam oven
The griddle plate was used to prepare a sizzling steak and the fry sense technology on the hob produced perfect scrambled eggs.
The ideal cup of coffee was available all day for our guests using the phone app. This very clever app allows you to personalise your cup of coffee and ask the machine to make it from your phone. You can set your preferred coffee strength, how many beans, ratio of water to milk and the overall amount of liquid to make it just the way you like it. You can also can see the progress of the drink, and when it’s ready.
Everyone enjoyed sampling the dishes and seeing just how easy the Siemens appliance can make life in the kitchen.
If you were not able to join us, look out for more dates next year. If you don’t want to wait that long, why not arrange to visit the showroom for your own personal demonstration.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
