Two Charities To Benefit From Award Success
We are delighted that two charities will benefit from our recent KBB industry award success. Earlier this year we were named as a finalist for the KBB Review Community Champion of the Year Sponsored by Cosentino.
The award ceremony was an amazing night, whilst we were disappointed not to have won we extend our congratulations to the winner and the other companies that also made the shortlist.
As a finalist, we were awarded a cash sum of £500 to donate to our chosen charities and we are delighted that the Billie Elizabeth Wood Trust (BEWT) and Outreach Angels will benefit.
The BEWT was established by the family of Billie Elizabeth Wood who suffered a fatal subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) when she was just 25 years old. Her family, many of who are employed at Caple, have been raising money to fund research into the trauma that led to Billie’s tragic death. They also want to help prevent other families from experiencing the loss of a loved one due to subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Outreach Angels is a charity close to our hearts that we have supported for many years; they provide much-needed support for the homeless in Birmingham.
We are grateful to have this opportunity to support these worthwhile charities.
