Sophie Named As Finalist In Prestigious Design Award
Congratulations to Sophie Owen, our trainee designer who has been named a finalist in the prestigious Kbsa Designer awards. This is a significant achievement for Sophie as it is the first awards she has entered, after joining Qudaus Living almost two years ago, with no experience of working in a design or sales environment.
We are extremely proud of what Sophie has achieved, as she has successfully taken on board her on the job training in the showroom alongside studying on the Buckinghamshire New University Foundation course in Kitchen Design, part time.
Sophie entered the Kitchen Concept Designer Award sponsored by Blum and put forward an Industrial style solution in response to the brief for a new kitchen in the ‘Old Forge’ a redeveloped modern building.
As a finalist Sophie received a Deliveroo gift card for a meal for two and a framed certificate. Her work has been promoted via social media and can be seen on the Kbsa website here.
Belinda says, “We are all extremely proud of Sophie and what she has achieved. Since she joined us she has shown tremendous positivity and a passion to learn, and we all benefit from the new ideas and fresh approach she brings to our business.”
Belinda was also a finalist in the Kbsa Designer awards, in the kitchen designer of the year, up to £25k category. Her winning design is also featured on the Kbsa website and can be seen here.
